Loss of Steve Moss

After a long fight with cancer Head of Facilities and Projects, Steve Moss sadly passed on April 3rd 2020. Steve joined Sunhill Daycare in 2004 to manage facilities and maintenance within our growing nursery chain. As an ex-aircraft engineer and draughtsman Steve’s multiple talents soon became apparent and he rapidly progressed to become one of our most senior managers.

As well as being a skilled tradesman, Steve was accomplished using CAD to create new nursery designs and layouts to project managing their complete construction and fit out. His personality, sense of humour along with his Birmingham accent and continuous whistling while he worked will always be remembered by staff children and parents, especially his annual role as Father Christmas. Our condolences go to Steve’s family and friends, he is greatly missed by us all. RIP Steve Moss.

Closure Of Cotton Socks Nursery

Due the sale of our Aylesbury premises to developer we are unfortunately faced with no option other than close our nursery on 31st January 2020, which we have operated successfully since 2002. We therefore wish to thank all parents whose children have attended and supported Cotton Socks Nursery during this time. Also, our dedicated staff team who are either relocating to other positions with Sunhill Daycare or have found other positions in Aylesbury. We understand there is adequate alternative childcare provision in Aylesbury and wish all parents and children well for the future.
